The general meeting of the members of the AСTP RF was held in the State Duma of the Russian Federation

On March 13, the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation hosted the annual meeting of members of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia. During the event, the results of 2023 were summed up and the Association's plans for 2024 were outlined.

"Today, the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZS of Russia has gathered an expert community on one site, providing an opportunity in a direct dialogue mode to discuss issues that directly affect the strengthening of technological sovereignty of our country. Now this area is a priority at the federal level", said Alexander Kozlovsky, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the ACTP RF.

"The key aspects that we touch upon within the framework of the general meeting of the Association's members, of course, directly relate to those instructions that the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, identified in his message. The issues discussed at the meeting are primarily aimed at improving the regulatory framework and support measures for industrial clusters, technoparks, industrial parks and special economic zones", Director Mikhail Labudin told the members of the ACTP RF.

According to Denis Kravchenko, deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, the Association covers the whole country, from Kaliningrad to the Far East, and the number of organizations that are its members will only grow: "The Association of clusters, Technoparks and SEZ is of special importance for our country – Russia She began to fight for her economic independence. Western companies are shutting down or shutting down their production facilities, and we are under serious sanctions. And despite everything, our production does not stop, and moreover, they continue to expand, replace the missing links in cooperative relations, and develop import substitution at a high pace".

Gennady Degtev, CEO of Technopolis Moscow SEZ, also spoke about the work of the Association: "The Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZ of Russia plays an active role in solving the state task of strengthening technological sovereignty. One of the priorities of the ACTP RF is the development of special economic zones of the country, where large import substitution projects are being implemented with the support of the state," said the director of the special economic zone. "Today, SEZs not only stimulate business investment activity, which is one of the main drivers of the territory's development, but also cover most of the needs of the domestic industry - they ensure the safety and growth of production, the creation of cooperative ties, and the production of import–substituting products."

It is worth noting that over the years of operation of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, its residents have produced products worth more than 237 billion rubles, having invested more than 129 billion rubles in their development.

At the end of the general meeting of the Association's members, representatives of special economic zones, technoparks and industrial clusters went on an excursion to the Rudnevo Industrial Park.
