THE DIRECTOR OF THE ASSOCIATION HELD A NUMBER OF MEETINGS WITH THE INDUSTRIAL COMMUNITY OF THE KALUGA REGION
On July 3, a meeting was held in Kaluga between Mikhail Labudin, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZ of Russia, and Vladimir Popov, Deputy Governor of the Kaluga Region. The parties discussed cooperation in the implementation of projects to create a pharmaceutical cluster, a cluster of light industry and sports industry, an automotive and electronic cluster and a cluster of food products.
"In addition to clusters, two industrial technoparks are also being created in the Kaluga Region, which can count on receiving state support measures. According to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1659, an industrial technopark in the field of electronic industry with a total cost of 3 billion rubles can receive a subsidy of up to 900 million rubles for the creation and development of the technopark infrastructure," Mikhail Labudin said.
The second industrial technopark being created, Azarovsky, specializing in the production of electrical equipment for the automotive industry, after entering the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, will be able to reimburse expenses under Government Decree No. 1119. It is also planned to allocate funds from the regional budget from the Kaluga Region for the reconstruction of the industrial technopark infrastructure.
"I am sure that enterprises will have new opportunities not only in terms of financing, but also more active promotion and support at the federal level," Vladimir Popov comments.
On this day, a practical session "New architecture of support measures for the development of industrial infrastructure" was also held, which was attended by more than 30 representatives of the business community of the region. Mikhail Labudin, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZS of Russia, spoke in detail about the new modes of operation of industrial clusters, the stages of its creation and development and new measures to support participants.
"During the visit to the Kaluga Region, I met with Dmitry Probryzganov, a member of the Association – Director of the Kaluga SEZ. Together we examined the objects of the special economic zone, among which HAYAT is an anchor resident specializing in the production of household chemicals and hygiene products. In the near future we will hold a meeting on the further development of the special economic zone," the Director of the Association summed up.
