Russia and China Discuss Launching Joint Technology Projects Within BRICS
Mikhail Labudin, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia; Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ); and Sun Yuan, a representative of the Green Partnership of Industrial Parks of China, discussed prospects for expanding industrial cooperation between Russia and China.
The parties explored opportunities to foster partnerships between Russian and Chinese industrial sites, including mechanisms for mutual representation of interests and the promotion of technological solutions. Particular attention was given to collaboration within the framework of the International Association of SEZs of BRICS countries.
Future efforts may include the launch of pilot projects involving management companies and resident enterprises. The proposed cooperation extends beyond low-carbon technologies and sustainable development to a broader scope—ranging from the exchange of industrial expertise to the joint development and implementation of high-tech solutions.
The practical outcome of this engagement is intended to be the establishment of robust, long-term cooperative ties between Russian and Chinese enterprises.
