Registration is open for the IV International Forum of Special Economic Zones

On October 21–22, 2026, the IV International Forum of Special Economic Zones will be held at the Technopolis Moscow SEZ sites. Registration for participants is already open. The forum is organized by the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia and the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Moscow Government.

The main topics of the forum will be improving the efficiency of special economic zones, enhancing state support measures, developing technological and industrial cooperation, and expanding international cooperation with friendly countries.

Special economic zones have become one of the key tools for attracting investment to the regions. Today, 61 SEZs operate in 47 regions of Russia. More than 1,400 residents have invested over 1.8 trillion rubles in projects and created more than 120,000 jobs. Our next task is to help investors better develop projects, increase the share of Russian technologies and components, and move faster from idea to production launch. The forum will allow businesses, regions, and federal authorities to jointly discuss how to accelerate the implementation of investment projects and disseminate the most successful practices,” said Svyatoslav Sorokin, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia.

Representatives of federal and regional authorities, management companies of special economic zones, development institutions, Russian and foreign business associations, industrial enterprises, and the expert community are invited to participate.

The idea of the International Forum of Special Economic Zones originally emerged as a response to the industry’s demand for its own platform where it would be possible not only to discuss the results of SEZ development but also to jointly determine the next steps. For AKIT RF, it is fundamentally important to maintain this approach. We are shaping the business program based on the issues that are truly facing managing companies, residents, regions, and investors today — from improving support measures and increasing the efficiency of SEZs to technological cooperation and international interaction. Our goal is for the forum to remain a working platform for the industry, where the participants’ requests are turned into concrete proposals, solutions, and new projects,” said Mikhail Labudin, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks, and Special Economic Zones of Russia.

Participants will be able to present investment projects, conduct business negotiations, and discuss proposals for the further development of the special economic zone mechanism.

The forum program includes a plenary session, the International Congress of Special Economic Zones, thematic expert sessions and business meetings, and study trips to enterprises of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. As part of the forum, it is also planned to summarize the results of the IV Rating of the Sustainable Development of Special Economic Zones of Russia and hold an award ceremony for its leaders..
