AKIT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION HAS IDENTIFIED 19 IMPORT-SUBSTITUTING PROJECTS IN THE REPUBLIC OF BASHKORTOSTAN

The analytical group of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZS of Russia (AKIT RF) has successfully completed its work in the Republic of Bashkortostan, where 19 investment projects were identified that fit the criteria of import substitution.

During the visit of the analytical group of the AKIT of the Russian Federation to Ufa, Salavat, Ishimbai, Sterlitamak and Meleuz, negotiations were held with 17 industrial enterprises, as a result of which 19 investment projects were identified that fit the criteria of import substitution.

The main work carried out by the analytical group of the AKIT of the Russian Federation included testing a new methodology for identifying import-substituting investment projects, finalizing new industrial clusters of light industry and machine tool construction, as well as collecting the necessary documentation to confirm the new requirements of existing industrial clusters and identify at least three import-substituting projects in each of them.

"This will allow industrial clusters to count on a wide pool of state support measures, including in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 41," explained Evgeny Kravchenko, Deputy Director of the AKIT of the Russian Federation for Design and Analytical Work.

Today, six clusters are successfully functioning in the Republic of Bashkortostan: furniture, aviation, machine-building, industrial, agro-industrial (interregional with the participation of the Orenburg region) and a workwear cluster (interregional with the participation of the Chelyabinsk region). The cluster participants will include enterprises from other regions, including enterprises located on the territory of the new subjects. Also, a machine-tool cluster and a cluster of light industry will be registered in the Republic in the near future.
