ACTP RF announced the results of the VIII National Rating of Technology Parks of Russia-2022

The Association of Clusters, Technology Parks and SEZ of Russia has announced the results of the VIII National Rating of Russian Technology Parks. The presentation took place on the sidelines of the forum "Innovation Infrastructure: 10 Years of Moscow Technology Parks".

In 2022 the rating included 33 technology parks from 21 regions of Russia, six of them from Moscow. This year, infrastructure sites were evaluated for the first time in terms of investment attractiveness for the implementation of projects for the production of industrial products.

The methodology of the study and its structure have changed dramatically. The previous national ratings mainly took into account statistical data: the most efficient management companies of technology parks, infrastructure-equipped sites for the placement and development of high-tech companies were identified, the best practices for managing technology parks were identified and replicated.

Since 2022 ACTP RF has been positioning the National Rating of Technology Parks as a guide for investors with information about the most investment-attractive sites for mastering the production of industrial products. The rating of technoparks should help investors implement their projects with the highest quality and speed.

The effectiveness of infrastructure sites was assessed by the Association on the basis of 6 blocks of indicators (sub-indices): investment attractiveness of the Russian region; industrial, scientific, technical and innovative activities of residents; efficiency of the technology park management company; technology park ecosystem; information openness of the site; global challenges. In total, the rating was based on 23 indicators.

Andrey Shpilenko, Director of ACTP RF, emphasized that the “global challenges” block is the key in the rating – this is a completely new block of indicators that allows you to assess the competitive advantages of the technology park management company in attracting investments.

Based on the results of calculating the indicators, the participants in the list were divided into 4 groups: the highest, high, moderately high and sufficient level of efficiency of the technology park.

The technology park "ELMA" has become the most attractive infrastructure platform in Russia. The second place was taken by the technology park "Polyus" with the most efficient management company. Technology park "Zhigulevskaya Dolina" closes the top three with the most developed ecosystem among technology parks. On the fourth and fifth lines of the rating are high-tech technology park "Morion Digital" and the technology park "Kalibr".

“The Association of Clusters, Technology Parks and SEZ of Russia has been evaluating the effectiveness of technology parks for eight years now. The main goal of the National Rating-2022 was to determine the most attractive infrastructure site for the implementation of investment projects in order to master the production of industrial products. All those who took part in the rating are already worthy platforms, but among the worthy ones their own leaders have appeared. I wish all participants in the rating to develop further in order to create the best conditions for high-tech industries,” – said Andrey Shpilenko, Director of ACTP RF.
